Soirée dédiée au label indépendant RED BRICK CHAPEL, géré collectivement par une trentaine de jeunes musiciens établis principalement à Lucerne et Zurich. L’infatigable songwriter LONG TALL JEFFERSON, fondateur du label, ouvrira les feux avec sa musique folk légère et captivante. Ses chansons se déplacent inlassablement d’observations personnelles aux politiques quotidiennes, dans une mise en scène qui permet autant d’ironie aiguisée que les jeux de mots exubérants. Puis RIO, projet solo du multi-instrumentiste Mario Hänni (accompagné pour l’occasion du groupe JON HOOD), prendra le relais avec sa pop électronique sensuelle et accrocheuse. Les membres du collectif prendront ensuite place derrière les platines!

Long Tall Jefferson is a wanderer by trade and founder of Red Brick Chapel. Living as a professional musician for the last couple of years he toured and travelled a lot playing over 140 shows with his self-produced debut album ‘I Want My Honey Back’. His songs seamlessly move from personal observations to everyday politics setting a scene that allows sharp irony as much as exuberant wordplay.

Rio is the solo-project of Mario Hänni, a much sought-after drummer and multi-instrumentalist having played with Pablo Nouvelle, Peter Broderick and many more. His debut EP ‘Magnus‘ is a pop playground with lots of references and a remarkable courage to experiment. For this show he merges with Jon Hood, a band he’s been a part of for a little more than a year. Their brand new debut album ‘Body Semantics‘ was produced by Merz and is a beautiful sonic trip drawing influences from world music and folk with a little bit of electronica.
